International News Family Friendly Stick Man Will Return to West End

The piece is adapted from the best selling book of the same name by Julia Donaldson.

Family friendly play Stick Man will return to the West End later this year, marking their 12th holiday season in a row. Based on the best selling book by Julia Donaldson, the Freckle Productions’ adaptation will again play the Leicester Square Theatre from October 21 through January 2, 2024.

The return engagement will star Jonathan Cobb and Killian Thomas Lefevre as Stick Man, Charlotte Gascoyne and Maya Elliott as Stick Lady Love, and Patrick Orkney and Niall Morris as Actor-Musician.

Stick Man is adapted from the perennial bestseller of the same name, which has been translated into 23 languages. In 2015, Magic Light Pictures premiered the animated film of Stick Man with an all-star cast including Martin Freeman, Jennifer Saunders, and Hugh Bonneville. The film was the 4th most-viewed 2015 Christmas Day television program in the UK. 2023 marks Stick Man's 15th anniversary.

Stick Man is directed by Mark Kane, with original direction by Sally Cookson (A Monster Calls), design by Katie Sykes (Jane Eyre), lighting by Elanor Higgins (Private Peaceful) music by Benji Bower (A Monster Calls) and musical direction by Brian Hargreaves.
