Performances of Groundhog Day, the new musical from Tim Minchin and Danny Rubin, began previews March 16 at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street). The Matthew Warchus-helmed production stars two-time Tony Award nominee Andy Karl and officially opened April 17.

The production premiered last year at London's Old Vic. The musical’s Broadway bow is produced by Whistle Pig, Columbia Live Stage, and the Dodgers.
