More casting has been revealed for the Kennedy Center's upcoming revival of Monty Python's Spamalot, playing the D.C. venue's Eisenhower Theater May 12–21.

Newly joining the cast are Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows) as Patsy, Michael Urie (Jane Anger) as Sir Robin, Jimmy Smagula (Billy Elliot) as Sir Bedevere, and Nik Walker (Hamilton) as Sir Galahad.

Also newly announced is the production's ensemble, comprising Phillip Attmore, Daniel Beeman, Maria Briggs, Michael Fatica, Ryan Kasprzak, Eloise Kropp, Daniel May, Shina Ann Morris, Kaylee Olson, and Kristin Piro.

They join a previously announced cast including Alex Brightman as Sir Lancelot, James Monroe Iglehart as King Arthur, Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer as Lady of the Lake, and Rob McClure as The Historian/Prince Herbert.

An additional Thursday matinee has been added and will take the stage May 18.

The musical, which premiered on Broadway in 2005, features music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle and a book and lyrics by Idle. Adapted from the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the musical follows King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table on their quest for the Holy Grail, complete with coconut-shell horse hooves, shrubbery, the Knights Who Say "Ni!," and more. The original Broadway production won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Josh Rhodes (Bright Star, It Shoulda Been You) will direct and choreograph the Kennedy Center production, with John Bell (Into the Woods) music directing. The creative team will also include scenic and projection designer Paul Tate dePoo III, costume designer Jen Caprio, lighting designer Cory Pattak, sound designer Haley Parcher, and wig designer Tom Watson.
