The 10th anniversary lineup of the Hudson Valley Dance Festival has been announced, with performances set for October 7 at Historic Catskill Point.
Performing at this year's celebration will be modern dance company Alison Cook Beatty Dance, female-led Black dance company EMERGE125, contemporary dance company Parsons Dance, the Verdon Fosse Legacy, and Broadway veteran Corey John Snide, co-founder and artistic director of Capital District Arts Initiative. Additional performers and choreographers will be announced in the lead up to the festival.
The festival is produced by and benefits Dancers Responding to AIDS, a program of Broadway Cares. Funds from the festival help to provide meals, medication, and health care to those living with HIV/AIDS, dealing with COVID-19, or facing other debilitating illnesses.
