Written by Brett Haley and Marc Basch, the film follows Carol, played by Blythe Danner, as she re-enters the dating world after a sudden loss. She finds herself in two different relationships, both unexpected. Danner is a Tony Award winner for Butterflies are Free and received Tony Award nominations for Betrayal, A Streetcar Named Desire and Follies. She most recently starred in The Country House. Her screen credits include "Little Fockers," "Will & Grace" and "Meet the Parents."
Directed by Brett Haley, the film also features Martin Starr ("Silicon Valley," "Drunk History"), Sam Elliott ("The Golden Compass," Thank You For Smoking"), Malin Akerman ("The Comeback," "Trophy Wife"), June Squibb (Sacrilege, Gorey Stories), Rhea Perlman (The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, "Cheers") and Mary Kay Place ("Getting On," "The New Normal").
The film is set for a May 15 release. Rebecca Green and Laura Smith are producing.
