Broadway Loves Britney, an evening of song and dance paying tribute to Grammy Award winner Britney Spears, is held November 16 at Feinstein’s/54 Below.
The 7 PM and 9:30 PM concerts are produced and musically directed by Benjamin Rauhala (American Psycho) and feature choreography by Brandon Hudson and Alex Ringler.
Performers include Nick Adams (Priscilla, Queen of the Desert; Wicked), Corey Cott (Newsies, Bandstand), Tony Award nominee Jennifer Damiano (American Psycho, Next to Normal), Ariana Groover (Holler If Ya Hear Me, Bare), Jeff Heimbrock (The Book of Mormon, Newsies), Janet Krupin (If/Then, Bring It On), Ginna Le Vine (Truth Slash Fiction), Adam J. Levy, Alex Newell (Glee), Desi Oakley (Wicked, Les Misérables), Hayley Podschun (Hello Dolly!, Something Rotten), Daniel Quadrino (9:30 PM show only; Wicked, Newsies), Preston Sadleir (Next to Normal), Kirsten Scott (Big Fish, Hairspray), Josh Tolle (Kinky Boots), and Ryan Vona (Cirque du Soleil Paramour, Once).
The concerts pair Spears’ biggest hits with new dances influenced by her iconic choreography. The set list will feature new arrangements and mashups of classics like “...Baby One More Time,” “(You Drive Me) Crazy” and “Oops!...I Did It Again” as well as Spears’ more recent hits, including “3,” “’Til The Word Ends,” and “Make Me (Ooh).”
Broadway Loves Britney is dedicated to the memory of Andre Fuentes, Spears’ longtime dancer, friend, and choreographer.
Broadway Loves Britney is the seventh concert in the Broadway Loves series, which previously celebrated the music of Celine Dion, Sam Smith, the Spice Girls, Mariah Carey, and Spears (in the spring of 2013).
Ticket prices start at $35 with a $25 food and beverage minimum. Feinstein’s/54 Below is located at 254 W. 54th Street. For more information and tickets, call (646) 476-3551 or visit 54Below.com.
