New York City Center Encores! has revealed a starry lineup for their upcoming season, which includes runs of Once Upon a Mattress, Jelly's Last Jam, and Titanic.
Joining the previously announced Sutton Foster as Princess Winifred in Once Upon a Mattress (running January 24–February 4, 2024) will be Michael Urie as Prince Dauntless. Joining Encores! Artistic Director Lear deBessonet's creative team are choreographer Lorin Latarro and music director Mary-Mitchell Campbell. The work features music by Mary Rodgers, lyrics by Marshall Barer, and a book by Jay Thompson, Dean Fuller, and Barer. The upcoming staging will feature a new concert adaptation by Amy Sherman-Palladino.
Jelly's Last Jam, running February 21–March 3, 2024, will feature Tony winners Billy Porter as the Chimney Man and Joaquina Kalukango as Anita, with original cast members Mamie Duncan-Gibbs, Stephanie Pope Lofgren, and Allison M. Williams reprising their roles as the Hunnies. As previously announced, the production is being directed by Robert O'Hara. Joining the creative team are choreographer Edgar Godineaux, tap choreographer Dormeshia, and music director Jason Michael Webb. The biomusical celebrating the life and music of Ferdinand Joseph LaMothe (a.k.a. Jelly Roll Morton) features a book by George C. Wolfe, music by Morton, and lyrics by Susan Birkenhead, plus musical adaptation and additional music by Luther Henderson.
Titanic, running June 12–23, 2024, will feature Tony winner Bonnie Milligan as Alice Beane. As previously announced, Anne Kauffman will be at the helm, with Campbell music directing. The Maury Yeston-Peter Stone musical follows the infamous 1912 sinking of the R.M.S. Titanic and the lives of those on board.

Encores! is introducing student matinees this season, with special performances planned for Once Upon a Mattress January 31 and Jelly's Last Jam February 28. Community nights will be held January 26, February 23, and June 14, and ASL interpretation will be available at performances February 1, February 29, and June 20.
