Edinburgh Festival Fringe hit Hold On to Your Butts will come to London's Arcola Theatre for a limited run this holiday season, with performances beginning December 10 and continuing through January 4, 2025. The London bow will be followed by a U.K. tour.
The work of New York-based comedy ensemble Recent Cutbacks, Hold On to Your Butts is a live, shot-for-shot parody of Jurassic Park, performed by two actors and a live foley artist. Kristin McCarthy (Puffs) is directing, and Jack Baldwin and Laurence Pears will star. Charlie Ives will provide live sound and foley.
The play was developed by Nick Abeel, Kyle Schaefer, and Blair Busbee. The performance feature a cappella arrangements by Kelsey Didion. Sally Cade Holmes and Heather Shields are producing.
