Laura Benanti, a Tony winner for her performance in the title role of the most recent Broadway revival of Gypsy, will again join forces with her mother for an encore of their successful May concert at Feinstein’s/54 Below.
Laura and Linda Benanti (née Linda Wonneberger) will reprise The Story Goes On October 24-28, at 7 PM at the intimate cabaret. The two artists will again present their “musical journey through the special relationship between a mother and daughter.”

Linda Benanti, an accomplished actor and singer who performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and regionally, has been a voice teacher in Kinnelon, New Jersey, for the past 35 years. Her last professional performance was in the 1981 revival of Brigadoon. The May engagement of The Story Goes On marked her return to the stage.
Laura Benanti has made a series of appearances doing a comic impression of First Lady Melania Trump on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
She was most recently seen on Broadway in the 2016 revival of Roundabout Theatre Company’s She Loves Me, for which she earned her fifth Tony nomination. Known for her roles in Into the Woods, Gypsy, and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Benanti has also worked in television on Nashville and Supergirl (which also stars Jeremy Jordan). Previously, she took on the role of Baroness Elsa Schraeder in the live television musical The Sound of Music Live!
