Tony and Grammy Award winner Leslie Odom, Jr., currently starring in and co-producing Broadway's Purlie Victorious, will release his fifth studio album, When A Crooner Dies, November 17 through BMG. The release marks Odom's first new album of original music since 2019. When a Crooner Dies will feature 10 newly penned songs that are described as Odom's "most personal music to date."

Odom's album release coincides with his return to Broadway in Purlie Victorious: A Non-Confederate Romp Through the Cotton Patch, which opened September 27 at the Music Box Theatre.
