Tony winner Lillias White, currently on Broadway in the Tony-winning Hadestown, returns to 54 Below Thanksgiving week.
The Broadway favorite, who won her Tony for her performance inThe Life, offers Blissfully Thankful November 22, 24, and 25 at 7 PM.
Attendees can expect songs from the worlds of Broadway, blues, jazz, and pop. The performances feature music direction from French-Malagasy pianist, composer, producer, and bandleader Mathis Picard.
Prior to Hadestown, White was last seen on Broadway as Matron “Mama” Morton in the revival of Chicago. Her additional Broadway credits include The Life, Fela!, Dreamgirls, Cats, Once on This Island, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
