Artist James McMullan has partnered with BroadwayCollectors.com to release two variations of a commemorative poster for Stephen Sondheim.
Initially designed for the children's biography Sondheim: The Man Who Changed Musical Theatre, the poster renders the legendary composer lyricist in McMullan's signature style, surrounded by sketches of his various iconic characters.
McMullan has designed Broadway posters since 1976, and has been the principal poster artist for Lincoln Center Productions since 1986. He previously received the Drama Desk Special Award for his theatrical artwork.
A traditional 14x22" window card variation of the poster is available, in addition to a limited edition signed and numbered 18x32" variation. For more information, please visit BroadwayCollectors.com.
