Freestyle Love Supreme founding member and producer Lin-Manuel Miranda will be a special guest of the national tour of that production at the 8 PM performance June 10 at the Kimmel Cultural Campus.

"It is our honor to host Lin-Manuel Miranda for this one-day-only performance as part of our week-long engagement of Freestyle Love Supreme," said President and CEO of the Kimmel Center Matías Tarnopolsky. "A brilliant master of creative artistry, Miranda joins a creative cast, alongside Philly’s Anthony Veneziale, for an entirely exclusive experience, unique only to those sitting in the theatre that night."

It was previously announced that Tony winner James Monroe Iglehart will also join the tour for select performances at the Kimmel Cultural Campus in Philadelphia June 7-11. Miranda and Iglehart are expected to perform together at the June 10 show.  Founding member and Tony nominee Christopher Jackson previously joined the national tour of the show as a special guest at The Kennedy Center in D.C. during performances May 10-15.

The show is conceived by Anthony Veneziale, and created by Veneziale and In The Heights and Hamilton collaborators Thomas Kail and Miranda. The show is described as a blend of hip-hop, improv theatre, and singing, with no two performances being the same.

The work concluded its second Broadway run January 2 at the Booth Theatre. It is also a recipient of a 2020 Special Tony Award and was featured in the Hulu documentary We Are Freestyle Love Supreme.

The tour company includes Morgan Reilly a.k.a. Hummingbird; Anthony Veneziale a.k.a Two Touch; Andrew Bancroft a.k.a Jelly Donut; Simone Acosta a.k.a Sims; Richard Baskin, Jr. a.k.a Rich Midway; Jay C.
