The Verdict Round-Up: The 2023-2024 Broadway Season in Reviews

As we eagerly await Tony nominations, check in with how this season's 39 new productions fared with critics.

As the 2023-24 Broadway season comes to a close and we eagerly await the April 30 reveal of this year's Tony Award nominations, we're looking back at how all of the new shows this season fared with critics. Thirty-nine new productions—including 22 musicals and 17 plays—opened between June 2023 and April 2024, and Playbill collected reviews for all of them. 

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Renée Elise Goldsberry are set to announce this year's Tony Award nominees April 30, as previously reported. Winners will be named June 16 at Lincoln Center's David H. Koch Theater. Stay tuned to Playbill.com for all the latest Tony Awards news.
