The production, which kicks off the company's 2015-16 season, is helmed by Susan D. Atkinson and will run Sept. 29-Oct. 18. An official opening night is scheduled for Oct. 1.

The Tony nominee, last seen on Broadway in Elf, is joined by a cast that features Mike Boland (An Enemy of the People), Linda Elizabeth, Barbara McCullough (The King and I), Bruce Sabath (Company), David Sitler (An Inspector Calls), Grant Struble and Jessica Wagner.

Bus Stop is Pulitzer winner Inge's classic play set at a Kansas diner. The story brings together an unlikely group of characters, including the waitstaff, a cowboy, a sheriff and a pretentious professor, when they are stranded during the night because of a snowstorm. "An undertow of sex, lies, and a touch of perversity are served to this motley crew," notes BRT's press notes, "as they spend a night together filled with love, laughter, and heartache."

The Tony-nominated play premiered on Broadway in 1955, when it ran for almost a year. Stage legend Elaine Stritch received a Tony nomination for her portrayal of Grace in the production.

The creative team features set designer Nels Anderson, costume designer Linda Bee Stockton, lighting designer Deborah Constantine and sound designer Amy Altadonna. BRT's season is set to present Mountain: The Journey of Justice Douglas by Douglas Scott, The Language Archive by Julia Cho, Rumors by Neil Simon and Man of La Mancha starring Robert Newman with music by Mitch Leigh, lyrics by Joe Darion and book by Dale Wasserman.
