Jaime Lozano & The Familia: Songs by an Immigrant Unplugged, featuring composer-conductor-performer Lozano and his Familia, will be presented May 30 at 7:30 PM at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
Lozano will be joined by vocalists Mayelah Barrera (El Otro Oz), Florencia Cuenca (Real Women Have Curves), Robi Hager (Spring Awakening), and Mauricio Martínez (On Your Feet!), along with musicians Ludovica Burtone on violin, Saúl Cosme on guitars, Joel Mateo on percussion, Yahir Montes on guitars, Taya Ricker on violin, Ruben Rodriguez on bass, Laura Sacks on viola, and Agustin Uriburu on cello.
Attendees can expect to hear acoustic versions of songs from Lozano's albums, Songs by an Immigrant Vol. 1, Vol. 2, and a preview of his upcoming Vol. 3.

Musician, vocal coach, composer, arranger, orchestrator, musical producer, and musical theatre director Lozano is currently working on his new album, Songs by an Immigrant Vol. 3, part of his project Jaime Lozano and The Familia. The Familia is a group of Broadway and Off-Broadway performers put together by Lozano to sing about their immigrant experience.
