Will & Grace Emmy winner Megan Mullally and Stephanie Hunt (Friday Night Lights, Somebody Up There Likes Me) will return to New York with their self-described “punk-showbiz” musical act, Nancy And Beth, for a five-performance run at the Café Carlyle in May.
Nancy And Beth returns to New York May 1–5 as part of a spring tour that launches April 15 in Los Angeles, with dates to follow in Chicago, Cincinnati, and Washington, D.C.
The genre-defying duo bring tight vocal harmonies and a bit of Bob Fosse razzle dazzle to an eclectic array of musical material ranging from rap to country. Their self-titled debut album was released last spring.
Best known for her Emmy-winning turn as Karen on Will & Grace, Mullally starred on Broadway in Young Frankenstein and It’s Only a Play, as well as the 1994 revival of Grease and the 1995 revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
The Café Carlyle is located inside the Carlyle Hotel at 35 East 76th Street in New York City. Tickets cost $75 to $185, and can be ordered by calling (212) 744-6100 or online via Ticketweb.
Next year, Carnegie Hall's house band will perform Bernstein’s “Kaddish” Symphony, unfinished works by Schubert, and the final concert of Conductor Bernard Labadie.
