Michael Moore’s The Terms of My Surrender Concludes Broadway Run October 22

Michael Moore's theatrical debut, The Terms of My Surrender, ends its Broadway run October 22 at the Belasco Theatre. The show from the Academy Award-winning filmmaker and bestselling author, which examined America’s current political and cultural landscape, officially opened August 10.

Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer collaborated with Moore on the solo piece that takes aim at the current administration and its policies.

The play was billed as an “exhilarating, urgent show [that] is a hysterical theatrical coup d’etat that takes the utter lunacy of our times and turns it into a subversive piece of theatre. Don’t miss this unprecedented live event from one of America’s most incisive and hilarious voices. After all, who better to answer the burning questions of the Trumpian era than the man who saw it all coming and tried to warn us?”

Throughout the limited engagement, Moore welcomed numerous activists, political figures, and other special guests to join him on stage. The engagement featured appearances from the likes of Whoopi Goldberg, Gloria Steinem, Billie Joe Armstrong, Lee Daniels, and Representative Maxine Waters. On August 15, Moore, along with Mark Ruffalo and Olivia Wilde, led a post-performance march to Trump Tower.
