Tony winner and The Notebook star Maryann Plunkett is reprising her Obie-winning performance from the play's 2023 run.

More casting has been revealed for Clubbed Thumb's upcoming return engagement of Deep Blue Sound at The Public Theater's Shiva Theater, with performances beginning February 25 ahead of a March 6 opening night. The limited run of the Abe Koogler play will continue through March 29. Arin Arbus will direct.

Joining previously announced original cast members Tony winner Maryann Plunkett (The Notebook), Armando Riesco, Crystal Finn, and Jan Leslie Harding; plus Mia Katigbak and Danny Wolohan will be Tony winner Miriam Silverman, Arnie Burton, and Carmen Zilles. Plunkett will be reprising her Obie-winning performance from the play's 2023 run.

Set on an island in the Pacific Northwest, the work centers on a community gathering called following the disappearance of a local pod of orca whales.

The production will feature scenic design by dots, costume design by Emily Rebholz, lighting design by Isabella Byrd, and sound design by Mikaal Sulaiman. Kristy Bodall will be production stage manager.
