Set in 1960s London, The Comedy About Spies, a farcical caper full of misunderstanding, miscommunication, and mistaken identity, follows a rogue British agent, who steals plans for a new weapon. Spies from the CIA and the KGB assemble at London’s Piccadilly Hotel to track down the British mole, but when a young British couple and an older actor auditioning for the first James Bond film check into the hotel, the stakes reach a boiling point.

A sneak peek of the opening scene from the Cold War comedy will be presented November 22 at The Royal Variety Performance, which will subsequently air on ITV1 December 15.

The Comedy About Spies is presented by Kenny Wax and Stage Presence in association with Jo Danvers.
