Pangea, downtown Manhattan’s “alternative supper club” will say goodbye to 2017 and hello to 2018 with a pair of New Year’s Eve concerts headlined by Molly Pope and Kim David Smith, premiering their No Thrill From Champagne show of song and comedy.
Pope is a busy singer-actor who has performed her cabaret show at Joe’s Pub, Feinstein’s/54 Below, Feinstein’s at the Regency, Ars Nova, and clubs across the U.S. and Australia.
Described as “an ALL-frills night of merriment,” showcasing “the glam of yesteryear to the neo-here-and-now,” the 8 PM early show (priced at $125), and the 10:30 PM late show ($165) includes dinner and a half bottle of Cava per person.
