"As a precursor to the events of Ibsen's play – dealing with the intimate relations of a family struggling to keep secrets in, and the demons out – audiences craft their own narrative by engaging in scenes, exploring the estate and influencing unfolding events," states a description on the Journey Lab website

The new production is co-created, co-conceived, and co-directed by Victor Carinha, Christy Casey, Anthony Logan Cole, Mia Zanette, Jennifer Wilson, Liz Lehman and Deaths Head Theatrical.

The show is billed as a companion piece to the company's upcoming Give Me the Sun, also slated to debut this year. Journey Lab's earlier work, Astor and Grey, was performed as an intimate series in local cafés. Deaths Head also has a history of immersive theatre-making, most notably, last year's sold-out show at the Morris-Jumel Mansion.

Tickets, from $20, can be purchased by visiting JourneyLab.org. The Morris-Jumel Mansion is located at Roger Morris Park, 65 Jumel Terrace, New York.
