Hadestown's North American tour welcomes Broadway's Nathan Lee Graham (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) and Maria-Christina Oliveras (Amélie, a New Musical) as well as Matthew Patrick Quinn and Hannah Whitley beginning October 4. The tour previously announced an extension through spring 2024.

Oliveras and Quinn take on the roles of Hadestown's otherworldly lovers Persephone and Hades, respectively. Graham steps into the role of Hermes, while Whitley takes the stage as Eurydice opposite Chibueze Ihuoma who continues in the role of Orpheus. The four newcomers follow departing tour cast members Morgan Siobhan Green, Kimberly Marable, Kevyn Morrow, and Levi Kreis.

Ihuoma originally launched the tour as a member of the Workers Chorus, which currently comprises Jordan Bollwerk, Lindsey Hailes, Courtney Lauster, Eddie Noel Rodríguez, and Jamari Johnson Williams. Also continuing with the company are Dominique Kempf, Belén Moyano, and Nyla Watson as The Fates.

Swings for the tour include Tyla Collier, Ian Coulter-Buford, Alex Lugo, J. Antonio Rodriguez, and Cecilia Trippiedi.

The tour kicked off at Greenville, South Carolina’s Peace Center October 5, 2021 with an official opening engagement October 13 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Since then, the national tour has played 335 performances in 27 U.S. cities.

Anaïs Mitchell’s folk- and jazz-infused musical inspired by two intertwining myths of gods and mortals, began as a theatrical concert performed by Mitchell. The 8-time Tony-Award winning show debuted at New York Theatre Workshop in 2016 before playing Canada, London, and, in spring 2019, Broadway. The Broadway bow resumed performances September 2 at the Walter Kerr Theatre.

The production also features choreography by David Neumann, orchestrations by Michael Chorney and Todd Sickafoose, set design by Rachel Hauck, costumes by Michael Krass, lighting by Bradley King, and sound design by Jessica Paz and Nevin Steinberg.
