Vineyard Theatre's Off-Broadway production of John J. Caswell, Jr.'s Scene Partners will live stream its final four performances in partnership with The League of Live Stream Theatre. This will be the first time Vineyard Theatre has live streamed an ongoing production, in an effort to increase accessibility.

Performances will be available for streaming worldwide December 17 at 7:00 PM EST, December 16 at 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM, and December 17 at 2:00 PM.

Scene Partners officially opened November 15 at Off-Broadway's Vineyard Theatre after beginning performances October 26. Tony winner Rachel Chavkin directs. Read the reviews here

Oscar winner Dianne Wiest stars as Meryl, who late-in-life decides to leave Milwaukee for Hollywood to become a movie star. Joining Wiest are Eric Berryman (Primary Trust) as Dr. Noah Drake, Johanna Day (Sweat) as Charlize, Josh Hamilton (Reality) as Hugo, Carmen M. Herlihy (Mrs. Murray's Menagerie) as Cassie, and Kristen Sieh (The Band's Visit) as Pauline.

“The continued relevance of theatre as an art form will require a radical reimagining of who our audience might be and a willingness to meet them wherever they are,” says Caswell, Jr. in a statement. “Lack of access is a major theme for the characters in Scene Partners so it feels especially wonderful to share this experience with our new friends at home who otherwise couldn’t be with us.”

The production features scenic design by Riccardo Hernández, costume design by Brenda Abbandandolo, lighting design by Alan Edwards, sound design by Leah Gelpe, video and projection design by David Bengali, prop design by Andrew Diaz, and hair and wig design by Leah Loukas. Rachel A. Zucker is the production stage manager, and Anne Troup is the video producer. Casting is by Calleri Jensen Davis.
