London News Pantomime Parody of Home Alone, Homo Alone! To Play London's The Other Palace

Jodie Prenger and Bobby Delaney have again teamed up to write the holiday pantomime.

Jodie Prenger (Coronation Street, I'd Do Anything) and Bobby Delaney (Zog and the Flying Doctors, As You Like It) have again teamed up to write the holiday pantomime for The Other Palace later this year.

Following 2023's hot ticket A Very, Very Bad Cinderella, Prenger and Delaney have written Homo Alone!, a new parody of the classic '90s film Home Alone that will play the London venue November 29 through January 5, 2025.

Press notes indicate we're getting a yassified version of the film plot, with Kevin McCallister's dads realizing at the Mykonos airport baggage carousel that they've left their son at their Soho flat. Back home, a pair of burglars—Marvina and Harretta—have set their sites on the McCallister's most prized possession, but Kevin has a plan of attack.

A Very, Very Bad Cinderella was the best-selling Christmas show in The Other Palace Studio history. Said Prenger, “when I was asked to be involved with such a camp, glorious Christmas parody…(!) let me tell you, they had me at camp. Winter can be grim, so I really hope this tickles your tinsel. Enjoy, and be prepared to laugh for all the wrong reasons.”

Cast and creative team members will be announced at a later date.
