Rehearsals have begun for Harmony, which is set to begin Broadway previews October 18, ahead of an official opening November 13. Tony, Grammy, and Emmy Award winner Barry Manilow (score), Drama Desk Award Winner Bruce Sussman (lyrics and book), and Tony award-winner Warren Carlyle (director and choreographer) welcomed the cast and creatives for the first day of rehearsal—check out photos below.
The box office for Harmony will officially open Thursday, September 7 at 10 AM. Manilow and Sussman will personally be there to welcome ticket-buyers; the first 100 patrons will receive an autographed ticket.

Harmony tells the true story of The Comedian Harmonists, a Berlin singing group made up of six young men. In the 1920s and 1930s they were widely successful, with sold-out shows, popular records, and blockbuster films. After 1935, they were never heard from again. Harmony is based in part on The Comedian Harmonist Archive, curated by the late Dr. Peter Czada. Five of the six Harmonists are making their Broadway debuts, and the cast album is available now.
