The program included music from the era, from Irving Berlin to James Reese Europe, as well as new arrangements of the works of Blind Willie Johnson and Stevie Wonder, among others. The concert was accompanied by the 58-piece Orchestra of St. Luke's and conducted by Hamilton's Ian Weinberger.

Monsky's previous historical work The Eyes of the World: From D-Day to VE Day played a sold-out performance at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage in 2021. November 1918 included rare archival film and photography, some never-before-seen.

The November 1918 team included orchestrators Bill Elliott and Scott Wasserman, while Weinberger served as music supervisor, arranger, and conductor.

November 1918: The Great War & The Great Gatsby was presented by Carnegie Hall with support from the American Battle Monuments Commission and the New-York Historical Society.
