Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of Emily Feldman's The Best We Could (a family tragedy) officially opened at New York City Center Stage I March 1, and the critics are sounding off. Read what they had to say below.

The production began previews February 8 and will continue through March 26. Daniel Aukin directs.

The cast includes Aya Cash as Ella, Brian D. Coats as Marc, Maureen Sebastian as Maps, Constance Shulman as Peg, and Frank Wood as Lou.

The show, which follows a father-daughter road trip that turns out to be much more than what's on the surface, was originally announced for MTC's 2019-2020 season but was postponed due to the pandemic.
