David Esbjornson (Driving Miss Daisy, The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?) directs the suspenseful drama authored by Aguirre-Sacasa (American Psycho, Spider-Man, "Glee," "Big Love") that will run through July 8.

Here's how it's billed: "Ten years after the events of The Crucible, Abigail Williams is living under a new identity in Boston and haunted by her past. When a mysterious figure appears, she confronts Salem’s dark history head on and must atone for her role in it."

Joining Chloe Sevigny ("Big Love," "Boy's Don't Cry") are Patrick Heusinger (Next Fall) as John Brown, Paxton Whitehead (The Importance of Being Ernest) as Judge/Rev. Parris/Man in Gray Suit, Laila Robins (Heartbreak House) as Elizabeth/Margaret Hale and young actor  Lucas Pfeifer as Little Boy.

Presented on the Vassar College campus beginning in late June, the annual Powerhouse season workshops new plays and musicals before the public.
