Entitled "Carner & Gregor One," the album features an eclectic blend of styles and includes material from a range of their projects.

In celebration of the album release, Carner and Gregor host a $1 concert at (le) Poisson Rouge June 15 at 7 PM.

The concert features songs from the album, along with songs from other Carner and Gregor projects, including several premieres. The concert cast features Sarah Stiles, Derek Klena, Natalie Weiss, Lilli Cooper, Teal Wicks, Stephen C. Anthony, Prisca Demarez and Andrew Kober, among others.

Carner, recent winner of the Kleban Prize for Most Promising Librettist, said, "We're excited to preserve their work on this recording — and to present a stirring live experience as well."

Gregor added, "We're really excited about the sound palette we'll be presenting. It reaches all the way from musical comedy to rock to electronica, and, a lot of times, we try to fuse multiple styles together."

Carner and Gregor have seven MAC-nominated songs to their name, including "Sing, But Don't Tell," "Wall Lovin'," "Make It Here" and "Advice to a Young Firefly." Their musical Unlock'd played an extended run last summer at the Duke Theatre in Times Square, and their musical Island Song has had developmental workshops and workshop productions around the country and world. They were writers in residence at the Goodspeed Festival of New Musicals in January. Read more about their work in Playbill.com's Contemporary Musical Theatre Songwriters You Should Know.
