Sean McDermott, seen onBroadway in Miss Saigon, Falsettos, Starlight Express, and Grease, will make his 54 Below solo debut next month.
McDermott will offer My Broadway!
at the intimate Manhattan venue November 9 at 7 PM. Eric Michael Gillett will direct the evening with musical direction by Ron Abel.
Attendees can expect to hear tunes from McDermott's Broadway outings as well as anecdotes from his time singing with Barbra Streisand
to rolling off the stage in Starlight Express, playing opposite Mandy Patinkin in Falsettos, and performing with Bernadette Peters at Carnegie Hall. The actor will also perform songs penned by Cy Coleman, Leiber and Stoller, Comden and
Green, Stephen Sondheim, and Rodgers and Hammerstein.
In addition to his Broadway work, McDermott has been seen Off-Broadway in Silence! The Musical, Call the Children Home, and The Boys in the Band.
