A is For's star-studded Broadway Acts for Abortion concert was held October 1 at 54 Below, and the evening brought together the best of Broadway for karaoke, live auctions, and surprise guests, all while raising critical funds and awareness about reproductive justice for all.
Hosted by Martha Plimpton and Jenn Lyon, the concert featured performances by Bonnie Milligan, Rebecca Naomi Jones, John Cameron Mitchell, Kelli O'Hara, Miriam Silverman, Ann Dowd, Charles Busch, Cecily Strong, Diane Phelan, Amanda Green, Nikka Graff Lanzarone, and Marissa Rosen.
Greg Santos directed the concert. Dan Lipton served as musical director and also played piano, alongside Alexandra Eckhardt on bass, Meg Toohey on guitar, and Spencer Cohen on drums.
Founded in 2012, A is For amplifies art and artists that work to end the stigma against abortion.
