The organization held its 26th annual Halloween gala to raise funds for supporting urban green spaces in NYC.

Go inside New York Restoration Project (NYRP)'s 26th annual Halloween Gala. Hulaween and the Seven Deadly Sins was held October 28 at Cipriani with Kerry Coddett (Flatbush Misdemeanors) as host.

The evening featured 650 costumed guests in attendance for a cocktail reception and seated dinner, along with an award ceremony. Representative Ritchie Torres of NY-15 was awarded the Green Visionary Award, CBRE Investment Management's Sondra Wenger was honored with the Green Goddess Award, Winthrop Capital Partners' Samuel M. Ashner received the Green God Award, and Tony winner Jane Krakowski (Nine) was awarded the Wind Beneath My Wings Award, presented by Tony winner Alan Cumming (Cabaret).

Special guests also included Michael Kors and Lance Le Pere, who served as judges for the costume contest, and musical artist Ava Max who performed at the event including original songs "Kings and Queens," "Sweet But Psycho," and her new single "Million Dollar Baby."

Others in attendance were Susanne Bartsch, Gio Benetiz, NY City Council Member Erik Bottcher, Tommy DiDario, Chris DiLella, Frank DiLella, Nick "Farmer Nick" Cutsumpas, Luann de Lesseps, Christopher "Plant Kween" Griffin, Dakota Lohan, Jon Boy, Don Lemon, Cynthia Rowley, David Rockwell, Ginger Minj, MR MS Adrien, Gidget Galore, Thorgy Thor, and performance artists from House of Yes.

Bette Midler founded NYRP in 1995 to support urban green spaces and community gardens, with a focus on equitable access "to strengthen communities, promote food sovereignty, and counter environmental and social injustice."
