Video See Original SIX Queens Adrianna Hicks and Abby Mueller Take Their Final Broadway Bows

The hit musical continues at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

Original cast queens Adrianna Hicks and Abby Mueller played their final performance in Broadway's SIX August 7. See them take their last curtain call above.

Hicks starred as King Henry VIII's divorced first wife Catherine of Aragon, while Mueller was third wife Jane Seymour, who died during childbirth. Soon to step into the roles are Bre Jackson (The Color Purple) and Keri René Fuller (Jagged Little Pill), respectively, beginning August 9 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

Announced earlier this year, Hicks will star as Sugar in the upcoming Broadway production of Some Like It Hot, which will begin previews November 1. Mueller will perform as part of the Broadway and Vine series September 20. Fuller joins the company full time after having previously filled in for Mueller earlier this year.

Andrea Macasaet, Brittney Mack, and Samantha Pauly remain the Broadway production's Anne Boleyn, Anna of Cleves, and Katherine Howard, respectively. Brennyn Lark (Les Misèrables) recently joined the cast as the one who survived, Catherine Parr, following the July 31 departure of Joy Woods.

Also joining are new alternates Holli’ Conway and Ayla Ciccone-Burton, both alum of Broadway's Tina: The Tina Turner Musical.

SIX, created by Tony winners Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, follows the six wives of King Henry VIII of England in a historical remix that turns the Tudor royals into pop queens. Marlow and Moss won the 2022 Tony Award for Best Original Score, and the show's costume designer, Gabriella Slade, took home the award for Best Costume Design. Co-directed by Moss and Jamie Armitage, the production features set design by Emma Bailey, costume design by Gabrielle Slade, lighting design by Tim Deiling, and sound design by Paul Gatehouse. Kenny Wax, Wendy and Andy Barnes, George Stiles, and Kevin McCollum serve as its producers on Broadway.
