Jennifer Bauer-Lyons has been appointed executive director of The Serenbe Institute, the non-profit that serves as the parent company to the acclaimed Serenbe Playhouse, as well as Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre and AIR Serenbe.
Bauer-Lyons succeeds Founding Executive Director John Graham, who retired in December 2017.

Bauer-Lyons comes to Serenbe having served in artistic and administrative leadership roles at Horizon Theatre, Georgia Shakespeare, Waco Civic Theatre, University of Memphis, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. She is a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.
Serenbe is known for its immersive productions, which have included an actual sinking ship in Titanic and a fully staged outdoor battle in Shenandoah.
Now celebrating its 10th anniversary season, Serenbe will present Ahrens and Flaherty’s Tony-winning Ragtime May 8–9.
