Off-Broadway's Peccadillo Theater Company will present a one-night-only reading of Jeff Cohen's autobiographical comedy Squeaky.
The reading, which will be directed by Dan Wackerman, will feature a star-studded cast including Craig Bierko, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Dan Jenkins, and Harris Yulin.
Cohen's comedy centers on his eccentric father, Stan “Squeaky” Cohen, a man who was banned from every Old Country Buffet in metro Baltimore. Living in Baltimore’s most crime-ridden neighborhood in a ramshackle house that is a city inspection away from being condemned, Squeaky's son Jeff, a writer living in New York, finds himself battling his older brother Rob—a charmer with a felonious past for drug trafficking—over what is best for their father.
The reading will be presented October 7 at St. Clements on 46 Street. Admission is free, but seating is limited. For reservations, please email [email protected].
