New film and stage distributor Tiny Scripted has added a number of works to their stage licensing catalogue, including Taylor A. Blackman's It's Karen, B****!, and works by Cynthia Grace Robinson, Amanda DeLalla, David Valdez, Allyson Morgan, Joey Povinelli, and Catherine Weingarten.

Blackman's play centers on Niani, a Black teenager who decides to begin identifying as a white woman named Karen. The work is set to be published in We/Us: Plays for the Gender Minority in December, and will broadcast via PBS's All Arts series in early 2025.

“We are thrilled to add Taylor’s work, alongside a stellar lineup of playwrights, to our catalog,” says Tiny Scripted founder David Kimple in a statement. “It’s Karen, B****! brilliantly uses satire and social commentary to tell a story that is perfectly of the moment—hysterical, thought-provoking, and daring in ways that challenge the status quo. We’re honored to bring this bold piece to new stages.”

Launched earlier this year, Tiny Scripted is a new distribution company focused on short-form scripted films, series, and plays. Among the works in the company's launch catalogue were titles from Broadway artists, including Will Nunziata, Eric Ulloa, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, and others.
