Michael Aronov, who won a Tony Award earlier this year for his performance as Uri Savir in Oslo, has joined the cast of another project concerning the Israeli conflict: the upcoming film Operation Finale.
According to Deadline, Aronov will play Israeli agent Zvi Aharoni opposite Oscar Isaac (who also recently appeared on the New York stage in Hamlet), Oh, Hello’s Nick Kroll, Ben Kingsley, and Melanie Laurent.
The film follows an Israeli-led operative formed to hunt and capture Adolf Eichmann, a Nazi lieutenant who played a major role in the Holocaust. Aronov and Isaac play two members of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency, who eventually tracked Eichmann down in Argentina.
Aronov is also set to appear on the season premiere of The Blacklist, which returns to NBC September 27.
