The play with music tells the story of a Khmer Rouge survivor returning to Cambodia for the first time in 30 years, as his daughter prepares to prosecute one of Cambodia’s most infamous war criminals.

The artists are backed by a live band playing contemporary Dengue Fever hits and classic Cambodian oldies.

Cambodian Rock Band launched Steinberg Award-winning playwright Yee’s Residency 5 at New York's Signature Theatre.

Recently seen at Houston's Alley Theatre, the touring production will subsequently play ACT Theatre/5th Avenue (January 24-February 25, 2024) and Center Theatre Group (dates to be announced).
