Current Broadway Elphaba Alyssa Fox says playing the green-skinned character has "changed me fundamentally as a human being."

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Broadway production of the international hit musical Wicked, eight actors who have starred in the musical's leading roles recently assembled to chat about starring in the Stephen Schwartz-Winnie Holzman musical.

Watch Jackie Burns, Alyssa Fox, Jennifer DiNoia, and Mary Kate Morrissey, who have all played Elphaba, chat about portraying the not-so-wicked, green-skinned witch in the video above. The four actors recall the moment they learned they had been cast, the actor they first saw play Elphaba, what starring in the role has meant to them, and much more. Fox, who currently plays Elphaba on Broadway, says her experience in the role has "changed me fundamentally as a human being."
