Two-time Tony winner Christian Borle and the cast of Broadway’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory brought the sweets to The View’s Halloween episode October 31.

In honor of the day that brings tricks and treats, the cast performed a newly choreographed rendition of “Candy Man,” a song also heard in the original movie.

The cast of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory features Borle, Jake Ryan Flynn, Ryan Fause, and Ryan Sell as Charlie (with Flynn performing above), Emily Padgett as Mrs. Buckett, John Rubinstein as Grandpa Joe, Ben Crawford as Mr. Salt, Emma Pfaeffle as Veruca Salt, Kathy Fitzgerald as Mrs. Gloop, F. Michael Haynie as Augustus Gloop, Alan H. Green as Mr. Beauregarde, Trista Dollison as Violet Beauregarde, Jackie Hoffmann as Mrs. Teavee, and Michael Wartellas as Mike Teavee.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory opened at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre April 23, 2016, and features an original score by Hairspray’s Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, with a book by David Greig based on the Roald Dahl novel. Jack O’Brien directs, and Joshua Bergasse choreographs.
