The first national tour of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! continues to travel around the country, beginning performances in Nashville, Tennessee, May 3.
Playbill recently caught up with original Broadway cast members Gabrielle Hamilton and Mitch Tebo, who are also part of the touring company. Watch the video above for the interview.
Sasha Hutchings (Hamilton) and Sean Grandillo (Spring Awakening) star on the road as Laurey and Curly, respectively. Among those joining them are Sis as Ado Annie, Christopher Bannow as Jud Fry, Tony nominee Barbara Walsh (Falsettos) as Aunt Eller, Hennessy Winkler as Will Parker, Benj Mirman as Ali Hakim, Hannah Solow as Gertie Cummings, Tebo as Andrew Carnes, Ugo Chukwu as Cord Elam, Patrick Clanton as Mike, and Chita Rivera Award winner Hamilton as the Dream Ballet lead dancer.

Director Daniel Fish's contemporary staging of the Golden Age classic took home the 2019 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical for its Broadway run at Circle in the Square. It premiered in 2015 at Bard SummerScape and followed with a 2018 engagement at St. Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn.
The tour launched in November 2021 and has dates planned through October, including month-long stops in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
