On July 18 the Barcelona Grec Festival presented A Sondheim Night Music, a concert tribute to the Broadway legend who passed away in November 2021.
The evening included some of the composer’s most beloved songs, performed by a symphonic orchestra and Spanish and Catalan musical theatre stars, including Roser Batalla, Frank Capdet, Lydia Fairén, Jan Forrellat, Xenia García, Pitu Manubens, Dulcinea Juárez, and Toni Viñals.

The concert was directed by musical director Xavier Torras and staged by Alejandro de los Santos and Diego Rodríguez.
