The Moulin Rouge! The Musical North American tour is set to premiere March 19 at the James M. Nederlander Theatre in Chicago, where it will run until May 14. Watch a video of the ensemble cast rehearsing above.
The tour is led by Courtney Reed as Satine, Conor Ryan as Christian, Austin Durant as Harold Zidler, André Ward as Toulouse-Lautrec, David Harris as The Duke of Monroth, Gabe Martínez as Santiago, and Libby Lloyd as Nini. The Satine Alternate is Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer.
Also featured in the cast are Harper Miles, Nicci Claspell, Andrés Quintero, Adrienne Balducci, Andrew Brewer, Jack Cahill-Lemme, Sam J. Cahn, Darius Crenshaw, Alexander Gil Cruz, Alexa De Barr, Tamrin Goldberg, Alexis Hasbrouck, Jordan Fife Hunt, Justin Keats, Tyler John Logan, Tanisha Moore, Brayden Newby, Kent Overshown, Amy Quanbeck, Adéa Michelle Sessoms, Jenn Stafford, Denzel Tsopnang, Travis Ward-Osborne, Sharrod Williams, Jennifer Wolfe, and Ricardo A. Zayas.
Following its premiere in Chicago, the production will subsequently play Minneapolis' Orpheum Theatre, Denver's Buell Theatre, Los Angeles' The Pantages Theatre, San Francisco's Orpheum Theatre, and Seattle's Paramount Theatre.
Moulin Rouge! opened on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in 2019, following its Boston premiere. The show won 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The North American tour was originally slated to begin February 26 but was delayed by the Omicron variant.
