Aptly enough, the Joshua Harmon play Admissions—exploring the tribulations and privilege of the elite during the college application process—made its West End premiere March 12, opening officially at London's Trafalgar Studios.
Daniel Aukin, who helmed the play's Lincoln Center Theater engagement last year, returns to direct. The cast includes Ben Edelman (reprising his performance from the Off-Broadway bow), Alex Kingston (Doctor Who), Sarah Hadland (BBC One’s Miranda), Andrew Woodall, and Margot Leicester.

The play follows an admissions officer at an exclusive college prep school trying to combat institutionalized racism. Her son sets his sights on an Ivy League university, causing his parents' progressive values to clash with his personal ambitions.
Performances will run through May 25.
