Continuing with the "mufti" theme, both shows will receive pared-down, book-in-hand concert stagings at the York Theatre Company at Saint Peter’s. The 1972 Tony-nominated Don’t Bother Me, I Can’t Cope will play Feb. 27-March 6, helmed by Leslie Dockery. Conceived by Vinnette Carroll, it features a book, music and lyrics by Micki Grant. The show, which brings to light the African-American experience, is a vibrant mixture of gospel, jazz, funk, soul, calypso and soft rock.

Starting Here, Starting Now will play March 12-20. The show features music by David Shire, with lyrics and direction by Richard Maltby, Jr. The York bills the musical as a "bold, extroverted revue" that examines romantic relationships.
