NVK seeks to add a Business Manager to its growing team to support the business management side of the firm. The position is expected to be 20-30 hours to start, but could grow into a full-time position soon.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple projects/clients in Quickbooks Online
- Processing accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Processing payroll
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Recording and analysis of all banking and credit card activity
- Banking administration with bank contacts and online platforms
- Regularly generating and analyzing financial reports
- Creation and maintenance of budget, cash bow, and revenue documents on a monthly basis
- Administration related to business insurance policies
- Supporting the CEO, General Manager, and Director of Client Services on general administrative tasks
Requirements include:
- 3-5 years minimum experience with Quickbooks Online
- Fluent understanding of accounting reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, Aging Reports, Trial Balance, etc.
- Thoroughness and high attention to detail
- Excellent with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- Excellent with Google Drive
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An interest in communicating externally with clients, with an ability to navigate careful interactions
- An interest in working collaboratively with a small team to crush goals
Preferences include:
- Experience with Gusto payroll processing software
- Experience with Slack
- Awareness or interest of the theater industry
Schedule:
- 20 to 30 hours per week, with a combination of in-person (our office is in Times Square) and remote work
- A set schedule of weekly hours between Monday-Friday is desired, but can be flexible from time to time
