Disney Theatrical Productions is currently seeking a Swing Electrician/Audio for our National Touring production of THE LION KING. The Swing covers swing outs and personal days in the Electrics and Audio departments. As well as in the safe and consistent running of the load-in, load-out, maintenance and operation of elements of the production.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Maintain working knowledge of any and all show tracks in the Electrics and Audio departments as directed by those Heads of Department and the Head Carpenter. This may include the console and spot calling/operating tracks.
• Teaching and supervising the local crew members.
• Supervise and participate in safe positioning and cabling of show equipment during the load-ins and load-outs of the production.
• Work with the Department Heads to maintain/repair show gear.
• Attend rehearsals as required by the Department Heads.
Qualifications:
• Two years of touring experience with a Broadway musical or play is preferred.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead and instruct a crew of up to a dozen people with varying skill levels.
• Experience with automated Foy or other personnel flying systems is a plus.
• Commitment to actively being part of and supporting a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Salary = $2,550.40 per week
