Seeking Musical Directors/Supervisors for Norwegian Cruise Line production shows. Duties include: teaching production shows from pre-existing scores, rehearsing bands, contributing as part of a small install team and communicating effectively with essential stakeholders.
Duties vary per assignment but can include contributing to casting decisions and working closely with sound designers and on-board show bands. Keyboard skills less important than a solid sense of style, and basic vocal pedagogy.
Looking for individuals with strong self-awareness who understand the complexity of multiple learning styles (within the same group) and an essential problem-solving attitude. Successful Music Directors are comfortable working in a multicultural environment and can remain stoic in times of uncertainty during frequently changing circumstances.
Travel to Tampa: March 14
First rehearsal: March 15
Travel to ship (Benoa, Bali): April 6
Debark (Brisbane, NSW) April 23
