DESCRIPTION

We are seeking talented musicians (student or volunteer) for an upcoming MFA thesis production of Sweeney Todd at Columbia University School of the Arts.

Director: Miles Sternfeld (www.milessternfeld.com)

We are seeking the following players:
- Reed doubler (flute, piccolo)
- Reed doubler (English horn, oboe)
- Reed doubler (Clarinet, flute, piccolo)
- Reed doubler (Clarinet, bass clarinet)
- Bassoon
- Violin
- Viola
- Cello
- Bass
- Keyboard (Mainstage/theatre experience required)
- Trumpet
- French horn
- Trombone

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older

• Strong sight-reading abilities

• Theatre and/or orchestral performance experience preferred but not required

• Availability for all rehearsals and performances

Sunday 2/9 5:30-11pm (Band Rehearsal)

Monday 2/10 5:30-11 (Band Rehearsal)

Thursday 2/13 6-11 (Sitzprobe)

Sunday 2/16 5:30-11 (Seating/Tech)

Tuesday 2/18 6-11 (Dress)

Wednesday 2/19 6-11 (Dress)

Performance Schedule
